More Politics Than Reality

I have been to a great many places in my life time, but one thing is (in my opinion) an unshakable axiom, it being that far too many politicians are in this profession, more for ego and self-advancement, than they are for public-service and our national advancement (opinion)!

It is further my belief that “Hollywood’s Loss is apparently Washington D.C.’s gain”, but then, I am not telling you something that you do not already at least suspect, unless of course, you are one of those people who have themselves convinced of the nobility and giving nature of politics?

It is still my personal opinion, however, that politics and politicians, should have but a single primary consideration – “Pubic Service (ie - The Will of The People)!” Politicians are, after all, merely an extension of the voice of the public, and their major task in office is to enact the people’s will at the political level, and nothing more!

For it is “We the People Ourselves”, whose voices must be heard and the will of the majority that should and must be obeyed! And any clashes in personalities and personal opinions, must be secondary to the voice and desires of the majority – and that is it – no if, ands, or buts about it! And special interests should (and must) take a back seat to the demands of the voting public, and this is an axiom that far too many within our government have apparently lost sight of these days – and so it is, in my personal opinion!

“The politicians within ‘Our Government’ are but the voices of the people themselves, and not the other way around!” And For The Record: “The Spirit of ‘1776’ Yet Lives”, if but in the souls and the bone marrow of the American People!”
