These virtually unsung “Heroes of The Badlands” - ply their trades without much of the fanfare that is afforded to other national policing agencies! However, the terrain that they patrol nightly, is some of the most dangerous, foreboding and unforgiving turf that is to be found anywhere upon ‘Our Entire Planet!’

And while many of us, including most of those (often) overly-pampered politicians, slumber deeply within “The Arms of Morpheus”, each and every evening, these ‘Warriors of Our Borders’ are out there in those dangerous weeds, slugging it out with often violent illegals, assorted (and dangerous) wildlife, wide swings in weather and climate and every other danger that “Dear Old Mother Nature” can scramble up to throw at them – and that is an often, extremely deadly and thankless fact of “Life Out Here In The Back Country!”

Getting back to these extremely dedicated hombres of ‘The Border- Patrol’ themselves, however, and even though they often endure long, frigid, tedious or even sweltering, hours of boredom at times, with nothing but the coyotes, the rattlesnakes, poisonous insects, the pitch-black wilderness and all of the other indigenous vermin and dangers in “God’s Creation” to keep them company, these intrepid and rugged warriors of “The South-Western Wilderness” risk their lives nightly while you rest safely within your own comfortable beds within the cities of our great nation, troubled only by the ticking of the family clock that shares your serene and oblivious evening hours of slumber.

But what about that cold and brave warrior of the darkness, the ever-present and forever vigilant “United States Border-Patrolman” who guards our lives and our national sovereignty, while you snore-away within your own fart-sack, each and every evening – do these courageous men and women ever even enter your thoughts, or do you merely take them for granted, along with those among them, who have given their lives to protect you and yours from those who would illegally traverse our international borders with nefarious intent and a total contempt for our own laws?

“Think about that, the very next time that you settle-in comfort and with security for the night?”

“And May the Good Lord Forever Bless, and Eternally Protect, The Brave and Gallant Men and Women, of Our Very Own United States Border Patrol and Border Security!”
