On November 25th the Reno serial rapist -killer was captured. DNA evidence has him tied to one killing and several rapes. More to come I suspect; he worked as a journeyman pipe fitter in other cities as well, most notably in the Seattle area. Anyway, article lead-ins start with ‘Former Marine”, but neglect to state that the Marines booted his ass for drug use and insubordinate behavior. The 19 year old girl he raped and murdered is the one whose memorial service went through the WBC attempt at despoilment at the Reno Convention Center last winter.
The WBC spokesperson at the time claimed that ‘God’ hates Reno and therefore the perpetrator would never be caught. Wrong you are, Phelps, so up-yours, eh.
All the Reno PD needed was one break, they got it, and apparently got their man. Now if the Reno DA doesn’t do a Gomer, that alleged junk yard dog-bad boy has his future all set. Usually I’m not a big fan of capital punishment, but in this instance it would be useful in assuring that that person is never on the streets again, ever. It appears to me that he was going ‘Ted Bundy’ and most likely many lives have been saved due to Reno PD dogged determination.
