Default Citizens of New England and the Atlantic seaboard...

You may find it interesting to know that

BOTH Senators from OKLAHOMA voted AGAINST disaster relief for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

They both said they wanted the money to come out of budget cuts. They also said there was pork attached to the bill. I wonder if they ever voted for a bill with pork attached?

Inhofe has consistently voted against federal disaster relief, most notably in the case of relief for the 24 states affected by Hurricane Sandy.

However, he argues FOR federal aid when natural disasters hit Oklahoma.

In defense of his decision to vote against a relief fund for Hurricane Sandy, but not in Oklahoma after tornadoes ravaged the state in May 2013, he claimed the situations were "totally different" the difference being the Sandy funding involved "Everybody getting in and exploiting the tragedy that took place. That won't happen in Oklahoma."

It's nice to believe: "That won't happen in Oklahoma".

But and after watching the government, congress, bureaucrats and their supportive pundits continually excuse even the most absurd of ineptitudes, mismanagements and even disregard of U.S. Constitution as if of little importance lately on TV,...I don't see ALL Oklahoma tornado victims escaping such. Hope I'm wrong.

Regardless, let's pray that ALL those devastated Okies fair well and aren't despicably forgotten?

Forget about Foreign Aid and let's concentrate on Oklahoma!
