The most unpopular war in American History
Was the Mexican War. President Polk even arranged a "border incident" a la Nazi Germany and Poland. It was a declared war so I guess it was moral. Wars lasting longer than six weeks without a draft: Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Mexican War, Spanish-American War.

You done good !! If there are any video tapes of this, I would love to have a copy. For those surfing by this site, and don't know, many of the scruffy, bearded, smelly, losers who have passed themselves off as Vietnam veterans for the past 35+ years...were, in many cases, not in the military at all, and those that were, were not even in combat. We suffered, and are better for it. Larry
