Thumbs down Faking vintage gear

FAKES warning!

This "entrepreneur" is creating facsimiles of the rubber stamps that were used on a lot of USAAC-USAAF gear of all kinds - doubtless as a "tribute to the era", but for the unwary be warned > seeing the proper stamp in the proper location on an artifact is one of the deciding factors.

Cannot be too careful...

WWII Boyt 42 equipment and clothing RUBBER STAMP

This is a reproduction of the classic BOYT 42 rubber stamp that was applied to so many WWII Army and AAF field equipment. This stamp would have been applied to WWII field equipment items including back packs, utility belts, magazine clips, grenade vests, canteen holders, uniforms and many more items. It measures 1 inch across and can be used an unlimited number of times. It would be fantastic for someone doing restorations or WWII reproduction, reenacting.

Depending on the amount of inking applied to the stamp prior to application, different vintage/faded looks can easily be obtained. I include detailed application instructions.

These stamps are made in California USA using the highest quality components and are mounted on a beautiful cherry wood handle. I am confident we have the best priced, most accurate and highest quality rubber stamp products available and promise that you will be very satisfied with this item or you will receive a refund. The stamp comes with a lifetime warrantee. Our stamps are made using the most advanced silicone polymers available to provide quality results for many years.

WWII era military stamps are what we do. Check my other listings for more WWII era stamps and ink pad supplies.

Take advantage of this opportunity to score a top quality stamp at an amazing price.

A-2 flight jackets manufactured by Rough Wear, Poughkeepsie, Bronco, Spiewak, Cable Raincoat and Perry had an AAF winged star ink stamp placed on the lining under the manufactures tag. Additionally, many flight suits, B-10 and B-15 flight jackets cloth and leather flying helmets and other flight gear was also marked with the classic AAF winged star ink stencil.
