3rd SFAB builds medical readiness

Medics from 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade certify on Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) at the Fort Hood Medical Simulation Training Center, Nov. 27. Vehicle extraction and a written exam are the final events for the certification that is the foundation for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3). The training is facilitated here at Fort Hood, Texas by 2nd Battalion, 3rd SFAB medics and meets the medical requirements for 68W (combat medic specialist) advise and assist training.
