Carringtons is one of Cambridge's best kept secrets. Trading in the city centre for 29 years, it's the* the modern, laid-back eatery where the locals go.

This attractive venue keeps to the Carrington way by offering a wide choice of food, from tempting homemade pastries, paninis, and sandwiches to freshly made salads from the salad bar and a full Sunday carvery and grill. Children are well looked-after, too, with lunch boxes offering a nutritious lunch and a colouring set. All dishes are made on the premises using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and offer real value for money.

Cafe Carrington is an independent coffee house offering that all-important shot of caffeine, whether it be a vanilla skinny latte or a basic flat white, all available at much better prices than at the colonising chain coffee shops on every corner.

For those who prefer tea, Carringtons offer a wide range of organic infusions from Traditional English to fruit teas. And their freshly squeezed organic orange and apple juice is just as invigorating! And if the shopping really is getting too much, Carringtons is fully licensed - unwind with a glass of wine or a bottled beer
