Flash light

There is an area West of Rt 9 somewhere in Laos that the jungle gets so thick that you had to use a flash light in the middle of the day. There were a million vines hanging from the top canapy that looked like long spegtte, The ground seemed to move when you walked on it. You never seen dark untill you been in a jungle with clouds. I put my hand right up to my face and couldn't see the outline of my fingers. The night sounds were the worst, some I could not figure out what it was and didn't want to know. I dug in one time and turned my radio off and covered myself with stuff and didn't blink all night.
Why were we there? why was I there? Where the hell is there?

Was in narrow valleys out there sometimes , following blood trails , lots of them , and I would not have been surprised if at the next curve we saw a dinourour. Got scared and climbed out the top. Thats why they made arty.l Thank you Sid.
