Arrow Need Your Help!!!!!!!!!

Need Your Help, Each & Everyone

Please contact your U.S. Senators asking them for their immediate support in getting this House Resolution (HR 2369) introduced into the Senate as a Companion Bill.

It is now for us to champion the cause for those who gave their all. They spoke out for us with their lives, let us now speak for them with our dedication.

A copy of this bi-partian bill "Honoring Our Fallen Prisoners of War Act" and this letter will be sent this weekend to all 100 U.S. Senators. As such, please begin Monday to "Call Your Senators" requesting their support for a measure that is many, many years over due!

Thank You

Rick & Brenda

No. It is a House bill. A Senator needs to introduce a companion bill in the Senate. If the bills are identical, when they both pass ? then the bill goes to the President for his signature. If they are not identical, a Conference Committee meets to work out the differences.

Often, several smaller bills are gathered together into a large, omnibus bill ? and pass that way,

If you know of any Senators who might be interested in this issue, you and others can call them and ask them to introduce this bill.

Is H R 2369 a joint Bill with the Senate?

"Please don't let the other guy do it!?"

This Bill to Honor Our Fallen POWs is going to require the help and efforts of us all! Not your money, not your blood, not even your sweat - just a little of your time!

My wife has already contacted (e-mail) all 100 U.S. Senators asking for their backing in making House Resolution HR 2369 a Senate Companion Bill. We will keep you all in the loop as to what Senators respond, which do not, and which Senators support the measure!

My wife (Brenda), Shorty Estabrook (A former POW in North Korea), and I, have contacted everyone that we could think of to request their moral and legislative support! After all, would the many thousands who wasted away and died of starvation, beatings, disease etc., in enemy POW Camps have done any less for you were the situation reversed?

We live on the site of an old WWII, Italian POW Camp, here in the mountains to the east of San Diego. The enemy combatants who were interned here, however, were well fed, received medical care, and were relatively safe, as safe goes.

Our imprisoned countrymen, however, were often subjected to the vilest treatment imaginable, all the way from the German Stalag's, to Japanese Labor Camps, to the Hell Holes of North Korea and Vietnam!

All that they, especially the ones who died in captivity, would ask of you, (were they able), is that you never forget the sacrifices and pain that each and every one of these captured men and women went through for you and yours!

A few moments on the phone with your Congress Persons and Senators, showing your support for HR 2369 (Honoring Our Fallen Prisoners of War) is all that it would take! A few painless moments to show that "You Have Not Forgotten!"

"WE ALL HAVE TALKED THE TALK, LET US ALL NOW WALK THE WALK OF REMEMBRANCE! IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK OR EXPECT?"

VERITAS (TRUTH)
