I'm sure President Roosevelt would have called it "another day that will live in infamy". Rest in peace the victims, the firemen and police officers who entered hell to try to save some of thier fellow citizens.

I just returned about a half hour ago from campus, where my university's Air Force ROTC drill team provided a 24 hour guard detail for the flag in front of the student union. I unfortunately did not see anything about it until the 5PM news, as I did not walk in that area today. I decided to go for the ending ceremony at midnight. I dawned my Civil Air Patrol uniform and joined the cadets in the cool night. I was quite proud to represent my squadron and honor the victims of 9/11 by attending. I was also quite pleased that several students came out at midnight for the closing ceremony.
