Talking Mel

Email Dave and Bern, they should be able to help you.

But than again, depending on what type of site you are trying to make, Brother Booger might be of some use!

Default Be Careful of Booger

Most of his site are Porno. He's missed his last 10 counseling sessions and has gone off the deep end.

Um, Mel, is the URL and title of your website on purpose? It seems to me that your website was intended to be called Mel's Metal. As to your question about site design, I think your site looks nice for a start up. If you can tell us what the goals are for your site, then we may be able to help you out more. A great place you can use for a start is Google Page Creator, as it is relatively simple and does not require knowledge of code. If you want a template set up for you, I would use Wordpress, as while it is a blogging platform that is web based, you can use it to create a very professional looking page. Check out some of my sites in my signature and you can see what you can do with Wordpress. Hope this helps.

Dan

lol thanks Dan. It is supposed to be mels mental...just a joke.

I used a wordpress template for my blog but how would I use it with the website? Like what folders would I put it in and such? I found allot of them I liked. My current template was used from yahoos sitebuilder. Eventually I want to come up with something on my own but thats a long ways off. I have played with dreamweaver on another computer and liked it but I can't afford the money that thing costs.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

Melody you might want to check out microsoft expression web. It is an editor built from the ground up to run css unlike dreamweaver which has a patchwork codebase. It also costs less then dreamweaver and has some very nice features. Where are you hosting your site right now?

yahoo is hosting it right now. Its not going to be anyhing big. I might try to sell some of my jewelry over it in the future. I got a really good deal because of my ISP. No setup fee and about 10.5 a month.

Will look into the microsoft software. It may be cheaper for me in the long run to just buy a nice template.

Thanks!!
