“With the shutdown of government” has also comes a deluge of political tripe, none of which even remotely addresses the potential damage that is being heaped upon “The American People Themselves!”

“All that we hear these days is how this temper-tantrum (Government Shutdown) will reflect upon the politicians and their political parties!? In fact, it is almost as if we do not even exist, or at the very best, we are nothing but an afterthought!”

Maybe some of these “Career Politicians” would be much happier if “We the People” would just all go away, and materialize only when we are summoned (or needed) to pay taxes, fight wars, or vote these politicians yet another middle of the night pay-raise?

Our leadership are beyond us (they think) we put them there because nobody else wanted to run or would win against them. We are the ones at fault for voting for those who later disappoint us or make a major blunder. I doubt the way the system works good ideas are tossed out in lieu of a more demanding need? But whose need? Now that's the question!
