Gimpy....Keep up the fire...
Reading through that DAV report I understand more than ever how important it is for us to have these service organizations. Like it or not they are the only ones going to bat for us. I hope in the days that come that all of them will form an even stronger coalition. They have the expertise and know how and there is just no reason to reinvent the wheel.I'm more determine than ever to give them my support and respond to each and every one of their request to contact congress. I still would like to see all of us standing on the mall for both retired/disabled and active duty.

It's a good thing he does cause he darn sure needs it...
I think we should make sure he has a standing order for a new mouse at his local computer shop... It takes a lot of mouse clicks to copy and paste and keep us current..

I'm gonna keep raisin hell long as it takes!
DMZ---sure was good to see you to last week---even though it was a sad, sad day my friend. Sis---you're absolutely right about that post containing the speech given by Joe Violante----most folks around here keep hammering the service organizations, but they REALLy don't have a clue about everything the do for us.

I know what they do for us. They have helped me. But I think I have made some valid points.

Larry,
I think you have made very valid points and my remarks were not directed at you when I wrote them. I was just really impressed with what the DAV has done and whenI saw the total picture it was an awesome task. I am still for a huge media push to inform the grass roots of how we are treating our active duty/disabled/retired military/veterans.

Larry,
I was NOT reffering to YOU when I said "some folks around here".
I know you support the service organizations----and you HAVE made some "valid" points.
