New home for Vietnam Veterans
(EXCERPT) Friday, 27 February 2004 THE Vietnam War Veterans Association office is moving to a new home - from the railway station to the old CHAMPS "hangout" on Sixth Street in Murray Bridge. Rural City of Murray Bridge council approved an application for the association to lease the premises for six months at Monday night's council meeting. The association office, which has been located at the station for more than three years, is being repossessed by the Australia Rail Track Corporation. Association president Ray Sparks said they were grateful to the ARTC for use of the building, and were "very, very happy" they had somewhere to go. "We have had a great amount of assistance from the council in finding further accommoda... U.S. and friendly nation laws prohibit fully reproducing copyrighted material.
