Has anyone tried
to at least once a day to put a smile on someones face?
To tell them a joke or just BS around and makes them laugh. My favorite is, when someone ask you how old are you now, I reply " I am 61, but I would have been 62, but I was sick for a year ". Any more??????? Make someones day!!!! enough..................Doug...........

My wife is a nurse and she tries her best to use humor. It works on patients but not on their families. I guess if you're consumed with fear and anxiety over a loved one you leave your sense of humor in the car. Ironically, she says the patients who respond best to humor are the terminal ones.

...When someone asks how I am, I respond with "miserable", and it sort of catches them off guard, and gets them thinking,... ...Then just smile at them, and they come back with "at least your honest", etc,... ...just havin fun with them as they don't expect that answer,... ...
