The PTA at Garfield High School voted to not allow military recruiters to come on to school grounds. One guy voted against the recruiters because they make the soldiers torture people and have "agressive" war.

Looks like the patients have taken over the asylum there.

I certainly hope that happens to Garfield.

Ay sus, this is par for Seattle, nothing new. Their diversity is their perversity and make a religion out of fixing what needs no fixin and isn?t even broken. Anymore I think they want to eclipse San Francisco as the core and epicenter of all head-slappin, ?say what? strange notions and actions. When following the ways of things of Seattle, it really helps to have a good sense of humor and be a connoisseur of ?heat and no light? social dynamics.

Really don?t mean to sound like I?m doing a one-up?s-manship but in Western Mass they have anti war ?recruiters? at all high school job fairs, usually complete with photos of dead babies etc. I guess some of the freeze dried hippies are beginning to retire and need an outlet. It?s strange really, the anti war recruiters are not suggesting students aim for any job field, their just anti military. Maybe I?ll set up a booth that?s anti lawyer so that the ACLU doesn?t get any new recruits.

Can`t really expect much more of that bunch across the pond-They,who would simply NOT accept the legally elected Republican governor,Dino Rossi,and kept re-counting newfound ballots until their candidate finally had an edge.
The hypocracy makes me ill,as Seattle/King County was built on the backs of military contractors.Go figure.

Great idea! You can use photos of leeches and vampire bats sucking blood. And maybe some editorial cartoons of cannibals feasting on their victims, or sharks in a feeding frenzy...the list is virtually endless!!
