Default Marine question about jump wings..

I was zipping thru the channels and hit C-span. There was a four star Marine Corps general on there testifying befor Congress with what appeared to be jump wings above his ribbons.....maybe he got them while in the Army.. any ideas ? Thanks.

Larry

Larry...used to be all services that wanted or needed jump qualified personnel sent them through the Army school at Ft Benning. Don't know if this is still the case but was in effect for a while.

Marines can wear jump wings after being jump qualified, Force Recon for one example. They attend Army jump school.
