Adopting a soldier.
My mom aand me are wanting to "adopt" a soldier to send care packages to. Instead of going over board for Christmas gifts to family and such I thought it would be money put to a much better use.
Anyone have a good site they would reccomend? I have found a few that sound promising but would like to know if there is one ya'll have tried with success. Thanks!

If I remember right, Brigade Quartermasters had care-packages you could purchase and have sent to someone specific or just someone deployed. I know they had links to sites that dealt with that as well.

Thanks so much for all the info and links!
This is one I am waiting for information from, see what it requires and such. If it doesn't work out I will prob look into the anysoldier.com. http://www.supportasoldier.org

Well, think I found two guys to send things too. One being deployed to Afghanistan and the other in the Navy to Bahrain(sp?). Both are sons of friends. Would like to send things not only they can use. Will know more after they deploy. The first one should be deployed around Christmas.
