Like the possibilty of 'IMPEACHMENT' hearings may be on the near horizon!............

Source to Stephanopoulos: President Bush Directly Involved In Leak Scandal

Near the end of a round table discussion on ABC?s This Week, George Stephanopoulos dropped this bomb:

"Definitely a political problem but I wonder, George Will, do you think it?s a manageable one for the White House especially if we don?t know whether Fitzgerald is going to write a report or have indictments, but if he is able to show as a source close to this told me this week, that President Bush and Vice President Cheney were actually involved in some of these discussions."

This would explain why Bush spent more than an hour answering questions from special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald. It would also fundamentally change the dynamics of the scandal. President Bush could no longer claim he was merely a bystander who wants to ?get to the bottom of it.? As Stephanopoulos notes, if Bush played a direct role it could make this scandal completely unmanageable.

###########

Lets all hope and pray for someone to CLEAN UP THE CRAP thats been dumped on the USA in the wake of such utter evil, and have the desire and capability to turn this nation around to what we represented just a few years PRE Bush ago.

See what happens when a thief and liar and 'ChickenHawk' takes offce without being elected, just selected. LOTS of folks thinking this one through today.......... or they better, or at LEAST should be.

Rove Said to Testify in CIA Leak Case

By JOHN SOLOMON, Associated Press Writer

Thursday, October 6, 2005

WASHINGTON - Presidential confidant Karl Rove will testify for a fourth time before the federal grand jury investigating the leak of a CIA officer's identity even though prosecutors have warned they can no longer guarantee he will escape indictment, lawyers said Thursday.

Rove's lawyer said Thursday that Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has assured him that he has made no decisions yet on charges and that his client has not received a so-called target letter, usually the last step before a grand jury indictment.

"I can say categorically that Karl has not received a target letter from the special counsel," attorney Robert Luskin said. "The special counsel has confirmed that he has not made any charging decisions in respect to Karl."

Luskin said that Rove "continues to be cooperative voluntarily" with the investigation but that he could not further discuss his dealings with Fitzgerald's office.

However, several people directly familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press that Fitzgerald sent a letter accepting Rove's new offer to testify but warning prosecutors could no longer guarantee the presidential aide wouldn't be indicted.

Rove offered in July to return to the grand jury, and Fitzgerald accepted that offer last Friday after taking grand jury testimony from the formerly jailed New York Times reporter Judith Miller, the people said, speaking only on condition of anonymity because of grand jury secrecy.

The U.S. attorney's manual doesn't allow prosecutors to bring witnesses before a grand jury if there is a possibility of future criminal charges unless the witnesses are notified in advance that their testimony can be used against them in a later indictment.

The prosecutor did not give Rove similar warnings before Rove's three earlier grand jury appearances.

Stephen Gillers, a New York University law professor, said that it was unusual for a witness to be called back to the grand jury four times and that the prosecutor's legally required warning to Rove before this next appearance is "an ominous sign" for the presidential adviser.

"It suggests Fitzgerald has learned new information that is tightening the noose," Gillers said. "It shows Fitzgerald now, perhaps after Miller's testimony, suspects Rove may be in some way implicated in the revelation of Plame's identity or that Fitzgerald is investigating various people for obstruction of justice, false statements or perjury. That is the menu of risk for Rove."

For almost two years, Fitzgerald has been investigating whether someone in the Bush administration leaked the identity of Valerie Plame as a CIA officer for political reasons. Dozens of government officials were interviewed and boxloads of documents collected.
Reporters, including Miller and Time magazine reporter Matt Cooper, have been called before a grand jury to testify about their conversations with Rove and Libby.

Miller served 85 days in jail for refusing to testify, then went before the grand jury last Friday after having a private conversation with Libby that she says freed her from her original promise to provide him confidentiality.

In a letter in September to Libby's lawyer, Fitzgerald wrote that he wanted to be sure Miller was not in jail because of a "misunderstanding."

"I had assumed that Mr. Libby had simply decided that encouraging Ms. Miller to testify was not in his best interest," Fitzgerald wrote.

Three days later, Libby wrote Miller, expressing surprise that her lawyers had recently asked him to repeat a waiver of confidentiality Libby had given Miller's lawyer more than a year earlier.

The leak investigation stems from a July 2003 syndicated column by Robert Novak identifying Plame as a CIA operative. Plame is married to former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, who says his wife's identity was disclosed to discredit his assertions that the Bush administration exaggerated Iraqs' nuclear capabilities to build the case for war.

Rove, Bush's top adviser on political strategy and policy, has known the president for three decades. He worked for Bush as far back as 1978, when Bush unsuccessfully ran for Congress. Rove orchestrated Bush's campaigns for Texas governor and president, then brought his political skills into the White House.

A former federal prosecutor called the development "a classic example of what happens when there's a large political overlay to a criminal investigation."

"Each time you testify, there's an increasingly larger risk," said E. Lawrence Barcella Jr., a partner at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker.

"In a normal criminal investigation, most defense lawyers are extremely cautious about their clients testifying even once before a grand jury and are generally loathe to let them testify more than once because of the false statement statute, the control that a prosecutor has over a grand jury and because the witness's lawyer cannot be in the grand jury room," Barcella said.

More bad news for the Bush Bunglers!

Rove will make someone a wonderful prison bitch.

'BREAKING NEWS'------------

From Wire Services:

Kristol: ?One or More Indictments in the Next Three Weeks?

Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol on Fox News Sunday:

"Criminal defense lawyers I?ve spoken to who are friendly to the administration are very worried that there will be one or more indictments in the next three weeks of senior administration officials, just looking at what Fitzgerald is doing and taking him at his word, you know, being a serious prosecutor here. And I think it?s going to be bad for the Bush administration ."

Someone like Bill Kristol doesn?t get information like this by accident. It?s being fed to him so, if there is an indictment, he can prepare the base. Towards the end of the segment, Kristol got started, saying, ?I hate the criminalization of politics.?

###END###

The best way to stop the criminalization of politics is to get the criminals in the Bush 'gang' out of politics. Funny, he didn?t mind criminalization of politics during the Clinton administration. He was one of the cheerleaders for impeachment.

If Bill Kristol is saying this. And he is one of the prime architects of the neocon movement! If he?s jumping ship, you know it?s got to be bad! What a great day when I can complain about the Delay indictments being off the front pages??.because of the Rove indictments instead!

Bill Kristol is the Chairman of PNAC. These ?one or more? people he?s talking about include another PNAC signatory, 'Scooter' Libby. Kristol is part of the same gang that did all the cheating and lying.

It is sad to see that The Republican Party has come under the control of such a Mafia-like crime family. And a sadder spectacle is that the rank-and-file Republicans haven?t pulled together and kicked these guys out of the temple.

For all the right-wing?s professed religiosity and supposed 'Christian' righteousness, the ordinary Republican has let too many OBVIOUS crminals get away with running the national respect, the international respect, the economy, the environment and for God?s sake, our children into the dirt.

The founding fathers would vomit if they saw what has been done in their names.

This is an article by Sherman Skolnick (he and Tom Flocco broke the news about "True Bills" being handed down by the Chicago Grand Jury in July/August) Also in an interview of Skolnick on the Jeff Rense Program, Skolnick states to watch for the economy to start to or take a big dump around 10/24/05, thus giving the MSM something to bubble over about instead of dealing with the real news and the real issues being discussed in Chicago.

Patrick Fitzgerald Wiretapped?

G.M. and G.E. endangered by Refco

In and out of the Federal Government, a highly corrupt element is implicated in obstructing the Due Course of Justice and Finance. Among others, they consist of venal agents and officials of the FBI; "for sale" Federal Judges and Justice Department honchos; "big fix" law firms that corrupted the 2000 Presidential Election through bribery by Coca-Cola and Disney of five judges on the U.S. Supreme Court; gambling casino money launderers reportedly like William F.Cellini of Argosy who ostensibly buy and sell judgeships; Marc Rich, the devil tied to the Chicago markets; bigtime Red Chinese-Israeli money crook, Congressman Rahm Emanuel; and a wiretap gang originally mobbed up in Chicago.

These wiretappers have already succeeded in wrecking the work of a Chief Federal Prosecutor far from the Windy City. On the other hand, unlike previous Chicago U.S. Attorneys, Patrick Fitzgerald, originally from New York, does not apparently plan to go private after a few years and join the selfsame financial interests, Chicago markets, and law firms he somehow failed to prosecute for high federal crimes.

Called by some "Mr. Clean", Fitzgerald has also been appointed Special Prosecutor in the CIA leak case. Some fear his work, supposedly implicating the Bush White House, has been possibly fatally compromised by the wiretap gang. With the connivance and illegal participation of the FBI, the Justice Department, the White House, and Mark Rich and Rahm Emanuel, voice and data invaders have been grabbing up and profitably speculating on advance details, some gathered from spying on private wire and satellite networks, of stock, bond, commodity, and foreign exchange brokers, gold, silver, and other metals markets, huge hedge funds, clearing houses, big bucks litigation and merger and acquisition law firms, and similar sorts in the monster money, big media, and courthouse field. All of these intersect, sooner or later, with international swindlers Marc Rich and Rahm Emanuel, jointly tied reportedly to Refco and the Chicago and New York markets, and the Bush Crime Family. All, so far protected by the Bushies.

With really important related cases on his docket, a Chief Judge has ostensibly been protecting the wiretap mob. A previous key target was the currently sinking gigantic money ship, Refco. Early in the 1990s, through reputed bribery of regulators, and reputed corrupt aid of Marc Rich and Rahm Emanuel, Refco evaded a swarm of scandal bullets that apparently were also heading for First Lady Hillary Clinton and other heavy hitters like Marc Rich himself. [Bill and Hillary Clinton, at the zero hour end of Bill's double term, received a multi-million dollar bribe from Israeli Intelligence, the Mossad and jointly from Marc Rich, arranged by "Scooter" Libby, now V.P. Richard Cheney's Chief of Staff, to corruptly pardon Bushie-linked Marc Rich from facing jail for multi-billion dollar federal crimes.]

Refco plays a profound role in the multi-trillion dollar derivatives markets, particularly in respect to General Electric and General Motors. The massive book-cooking and fake large profits reports of G.E. would no doubt be publicly exposed by the downfall of Refco, and complicity fingering of Marc Rich and Rahm Emanuel, causing G.E. brass possibly to go to jail. The immense malign if not corrupt influence of G.E. in the aluminum industry and United Air Lines litigation, might cause Chicago Chief Bankruptcy Judge Eugene R. Wedoff [(312) 435-5644 ] to end up being sent to prison himself.

Already hopelessly insolvent because of towering unfunded pension liability, General Motors would most likely go under with Refco due to the joint role of G.M. and Refco in the volcanic mountain of derivatives.

About all this, the oil-soaked, spy-riddled monopoly press, with some of their troops and generals quietly speculating on these matters as illegal insider traders, are going so far unpunished while pretending to know nothing about any of this. Similar to mafioso, they "dummy up".

More coming. Stay tuned.

Why Patrick Fitzgerald Gets It

By Larry Johnson |

Oct 13, 2005 -- 09:47:02 PM EST

From AP Wire Services: Politics

Federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald understands very well that something beyond a crime was committed when Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, and other White House operatives spread the name of undercover CIA officer, Valerie Plame, around Washington as part of a coordinated effort to discredit her husband, Ambassador Joe Wilson.

Someone needs to alert Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen that he is a nitwit and moron for trying to advance White House supplied talking points that no real crime occurred.

Here are some of the facts that will come out when Fitzgerald ends his investigation:

Valerie Plame was still a non-official cover officer in July 2003 when her identity was revealed by colostomy bag Bob Novak.

Valerie Plame had traveled overseas on secret missions using that cover as required under the statute in question.

Valerie Plame's exposure as well certainly compromised the identity of other non-official cover officers.

Valerie Plame did not have the authority to send her husband on the Niger mission and in fact did not make the decision.

Other mental midgets like Cohen, such as Victoria Toensing, continue to insist that no crime could have been committed because Valerie Plame, "worked at a desk job". Newsflash for these so-called Washington insiders who have proven they know nothing about the intelligence community--at least 40% of the people working at CIA Headquarters are working undercover.

Just because they may physically go to the CIA building in McLean, Virginia everyday does not mean that their relationship with the CIA is acknowledged.

During my four years of sitting at a desk at CIA I was undercover. My position with the CIA was not even known by my own parents. Only my wife was privy to that secret. Many of the undercover folks still working at CIA are at headquarters on a temporary basis. Some travel overseas on temporary assignments that last less than a month. Others await a semi-permanent posting for a two or three year stint overseas.

The point that Cohen and the other White House hacks have missed is that protecting the identities of intelligence officers, whether they are working under official or non-official cover, is part of national defense. To compromise these identities is to commit an act of treason.

Patrick Fitzgerald understands that he must prosecute within the confines of the law. However, he also understands that what was done to the wife of Ambassador Joe Wilson was more than a rough game of inside the beltway hardball. Karl Rove told Chris Matthews that "Wilson's wife is fair game". Not only was she an unfair target, but in going after her the White House political crew unwittingly exposed several intelligence assets and caused the loss of intelligence assets overseas.

Richard Cohen is dead wrong to argue that the best thing Patrick Fitzgerald can do is leave town. To the contrary, the best thing Patrick Fitzgerald can do is a send a clear message to politicians in both parties that when it comes to political hardball intelligence assets must be kept out of the game. At the end of the day our nation's security is no game, it is a matter of life and death.

If convictons are handed down the penalty will not be impeachment as in peace time but rather death by hanging due to the fact we are at war. With Rove threatening Fitzgererald this is some really deep weeds for those indicdected. This goes much deeper than the Plame case.

Doesn't look like anybody;s going down on this. Miller can't "Remember" who told her and there isn't going to be a statement issued on the findings of the grand jury simply because to issue a statement would be itself, a criminal offense. The Democrats have accomplished their mission. They have created confusion and innuendo and even if no one is indicted, they have sown their seeds of doubt. It's beginning to look like Valerie Plame's husband is the one who leaked her ID.
