It is, or can be, the conventional Pacifist argument which, when sincere, is noble.

However... it was such arguments that have gotten our entire nation in a position of being far too lenient with such matters as airport and other security measures none of which, at their very best, will take a single step toward destroying an enemy bent upon world domination - every bit as dangerous as the Axis, if not far more so.

The guerrilla warriors we are facing respect brutality because they are expert and indiscriminate practitioners.

We have honorable ways to stop them, and had best continue to do so.

My armchair zoomie viewpoint, meaningless in its distance from the front, is that the war will be endless unless and until those with the will and the means rise up as we began to do in 2003 and put a finality to their wanton insane aggression.

It is a contest we did not seek, but must win, by whatever means necessary, and whether alone or in the company of friends.

The Feds are now claiming they "couldn't have known" that a Nigerian on the watch list with no passport and no luggage who bought his one-way ticket with cash and whose father warned us, was a terrorist.
