Our Two Major Political Party System - A Real Anomaly

Ever since our inception as an independent nation, away back on 4 July 1776, we have had no end of problems to contend with! If it wasn’t for wars, pandemics, and financial turmoil, then it was some failing world power that was attempted to sink its malignant fangs into the neck and the blood stream of “Our Dear Old Lady Liberty” – and yet we have survived, and most of the time, we have even thrived!

But have you ever stopped to tally-up those nations (world powers many of them), who have attempted to sink “Our Ship of State?” The problem is that we have a tendency to offer-up our hand in friendship, even to those countries that have done their damnedest to lay us waste in the past! And for the record, and in my humble opinion, we can’t continue along these lines and expect that truth, justice, liberty, and Uncle Sam’s Magnificent Might will forever come to our rescue – this just will not wash forever? And unless we straighten-up and come to realize that today’s friends and heroes, are often tomorrow’s enemies, we, like “The Romans and The Greeks of Yore”, may eventually, also be exiled to the dustbins of historic folly? -“We Have Come Damned Close In The Past - You Know!”

It is not that we lack the guts, or the technology, to maintain our liberty and to preserve our freedoms - it is just that a portion of our political leadership seems to be far too concerned and preoccupied these days with pandering to foreign demands and the dictates of blowhards, than they are in preserving our own liberty and our own democratic way of life – “And More Is The Shame!!”

“For when truth becomes mankind’s worst enemy, then justice too, is dead forever!!”
