Default My Dad

I will start this one off by thanking my father for his service. My father served for many years before retiring an E-9 from the Navy. He was always overseas sacrificing family life to keep our country free. I never appreciated that much then but now of course I do. Thanks also to all of the other vets from every era and of course for those future vets serving now. God bless and keep you safe as you keep us safe.

Default My Dad

I would like to thank my Dad, a Korean War Navy veteran that served aboard the USS JUNEAU CL-119 as a gunners mate. For those interested he and two other men built a 10 ft. replica of his ship which was donated to Great Lakes Naval Museum. The last I heard it was on loan for display at Great Lakes Torpedo Mans Mate/ Gunners Mate School. With Fathers Day arriving soon Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there who sacrificed so much for us all and to those fathers now serving our country away from loved ones and family! You are not forgotten!
