Just how in the world do you do it from the posts that most of you make ?

It shows up the link, and then the whole story shows below.

Do you read it word for word from the article into the Microphone or what. ?

Got me puzzled ( and I bet I am not the only one ).

enough........

Default reeb,...

...on yor' top bar, not the liquer cabnet, you see the word edit, when you find something you want to "cut, and paste, you use your mouse, and "backdrag" hold the key on the mouse, and drag it backwards across what you want, and then you pull it down through the whole article, it shows up "blue" on my screen,...

...once the article is highlighted, go to edit, click your mouse, and you'll see "copy", click again, and it holds it until you ttransfer it to where you want to "paste" it too,...

...to "paste", when your ready, go to the "edit" section again, on your tool bar, and click, "paste",...

Default Man! I'm dumb..

Thanks Seatjerker for the advise you have given reeb..

I have been hiring me a "blonde" with a short skirt and nice legs to do my work.. Gee! such nice experts we have here..
Being an old Navy pilot.. This blonde with the nice legs wearing a jet skirt that came one inch below the c--kpit, sure save me a lot of energy..

Default Reeb.......

A great way to get into the copy-paste routine is to off-line practice with Microsoft word. Most likely your package has ?Word? as that is more or less a universal standard. The tool bar across the top has a bunch of do-dads you can mess around with but the important ones are the blank sheet of paper on the far left, the two sheets of paper a bit further to the right and the clipboard to the right of the two sheets of paper. To copy and paste, just hold down the left clicker on the rodent (mouse) and paint over anything you want to copy. Release the rodent clicker and then left click on the two sheets of paper. This loads your text into memory.

Move the cursor to a different place on the same page or a different page and do a rodent left click on the clipboard or do a right rodent click and select ?paste?. Done deal.
Most likely you will see red or green squiggles show up under words or sentences here and there on the original text or copy text but that?s not a panic deal. A right rodent click on the squiggly will give you the opportunity to choose different spelling or select commas, etc. Once all that is done to your satisfaction, left click hold, paint and copy the text. Go set up a post and then right click the rodent and select paste. Dats it and you?re styling.

My computer is new(less than 4 months)with XP... Do I have to add the items you mention to the toll bar?

Oh Yes! I know. Just click view on tool bar, and click on customize, and there stupid, you will find the two sheets of paper(as copy), highlight it, and click add to send them to the tool bar...
Look Mamma,, there are two sheets of paper there.

Thanks, Seascamp
