Doc Fred goes home

It was with tears in our hearts and eyes as Joan and I bid Doc Fred and Shirley goodbye last night. We picked them up at there hotel about 10 am and took them to the Klahoch lodge on the Olympic penninusla for a Lunch over looking a very wild ocean, Waves were tossing 100 foot trees around in the surf like tooth picks in a glass of water. it was very impressive to see. then we went north a few miles into the heart of the rain forest and seen a western red ceder tree that is about fifty feet around at the trunk, but all was not all showing Shirley and fFred the sights, We really bonded and became better friends, and we hope to take a cruise to Alaska next spring. I'll leave a little for Fred to tell you especially about his forray to canada

But he didn't get to see the beautiful side of the state. SGT Darrel and I want to show him all the beautiful shades of brown. 1,000 shades of brown in Eastern Washington and he missed it.
