Prayer request.
I know very well the power of prayer from all the fine folks who participate on these boards.
I sure would appreciate it if everyone could take the time to offer up a few prayers to the old Fellow Upstairs for my best friend and the love of my life, my wife Jackie. She had to undergo emergency eye surgery last Sunday for her ongoing battle with glaucoma. Then she had to go back into surgery again this Wednesday to repair one of the "shunts" they placed into her eye to relieve the high pressure from the glaucoma when that device stopped working properly. Finally got her home from the hospital last night, but it's still kinda "touch & go" for the next few days until they can make sure the pressure in her left eye stays at acceptable levels. The next few days will be very critical, and stressful, to say the least. Her surgeon seems to think they can save her eye if they can keep the pressure low, but she'll probably lose some more vision in that eye. Me and the "Old Fellow" Upstairs have been having a lot of correspondence as of late. Any additional message(s) you folks could please take the time to see fit to send Him would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Gimp

...All our thoughts, and prayers are with you, and for Jackie,... ...Any time there is surgery within, or around the eye, it is diffucult to say the least, on both sides, Take care of the Mrs. , and keep the Faith,... ... I been through it with my Mother many years ago, she developed a sharp pain, and upon examination, it was a case of immeadiate surgery requiring removal of the tumor attached to the eye, along with reconstruction, glass eye, etc.... ...She went back to driving, and resumed life as normal as can be expected,(she saw more with one eye, then all of us tried to getaway with two),... ...Be Well,... ...

Prayers out Gimpy, Jackie has alot of good people covering her six. Just remember God does not make mistakes. There is a method to his madness we might not understand it but he has a reason.
