Voice From The Past Requests Permission To Come (back) Aboard....
Greetings to ALCON from Kandahar Airfield Combat Base, Afghanistan.
Connectivity from this pos is Iffy, on a good day, so keeping this brief in hopes that the shot will go out into the electron field...! Lot has gone on since I retired from Onslow County Govt employ...yeah...DOUBLE DIPPER (and next year, at 65, I'm gonna hit'm for a TRIPLE DIP)...will provide SITREP IF desired. MarineVet - glad you are back. Don't fret on 65 we are all moving in on that target. God willing we will make 85+ and still be on line with more vintage and appreciated words of wisdom.

...not many Marines here in The 'Stan and that's part of the problem over here...not enuff of our Fine "SOJERS" over here, either...!
I'm the lone Jarhead on a advisor team...mostly Soldiers (retired)...good crew but the folks open here who know me will get a kick out of this...my "work uniforms" are ARMY Desert Cammo Utility...just our company name above the left breast pocket and last name above the right...yup...Ol' MARINEVET wearin' an "Army Suit"...!!!! :cl: Semper Fi from the Sands of Kandahar,

Great to hear from you. Was begining to get a bit worried about you but since you are "surrounded" by Soljers, so to speak, my fears are aleived! Bullethead was going through some bad JU-JU at home. Haven't talked to him in awhile. Hope you two are emailing. If not...I'll give him a call and PM you about his situation. All's well on the homefront here. Wishing you a save return so you can spend all those bucks your making on Golf lessons! Andy is not doing good right now and could use your prayers.
