Default ***VIDEO AVAILABLE*** Coast Guard, good samaritans rescue 9

SAN DIEGO – The Coast Guard Cutter Edisto responds to a vessel taking on water with nine people aboard 30 miles south of Point Loma, Calif., Saturday evening.

Six people were taken to Point Loma Marina by the good Samaritan boast Dr. Sic, while two were taken aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Edisto and one was taken back to land aboard one of the two commercial salvage vessels that helped the survivors. One of the commercial salvage vessels will tow the the troubled fishing boat, Instinct, back to San Diego. U.S. Coast Guard video by Sector San Diego.
