I hear there was a funding problem for the memorial.
A few people that should contribute to the site. France, Gremany, Italy, Poland, Russa, But then, what did our guys do for them except save they world.

I watched some of the memorial construction and pre-dedication last night. Why it took that long to get some recognition for such a major war is beyond me.

I saw some of the dedications for the WWII boys in France that was pretty nice.

I think it is such a sad thing that it took so long.....just so crappy.

So many are gone.....never knew how much they meant to this world and to all of us here in the US. Europe for the most part have a very short term memory.

I am a Brit and I agree with that comment, its diabolical that Europe should treat the US this way, I dont know if problems have come from the UK regarding funding but what I can say is that the majority of people that I mix with will never forget what the US did for us. You saved our Arses (Asses) and for that I and the UK are forever in your debt.

Thank you
