Ravens
Watched a very interesting and very good show last night on the Discovery Time channel. It was call Ravens and it was about the clandestine actions of the CIA and several Air Force personnel in Laos.
It talked about how they created a very affective diversion for the troops in VN. They followed a group of retirees that returned to Laos and attempted to return to their air base but were unable to because the area called "The Special Area" was still a hot spot of fighting between the Mong people and the communists. The government set up an opportunity for these men to meet with some "Mong" villagers. It turned out later after an American interpreter watched the tape; that the people they thought they were meeting were not Mong but Laoations (sp?) So my question is this...anyone around here one of the Ravens or know any of them?
