This morning I droped the kid off at her aint and uncles, they are going to Colorado for a week and wanted to take her with them.
While on the way she points out my keys in the steering colum and asked whats this? My dog tag from the Army. She says , its good that you got to keep yours, What???? why wouldn't I get to keep them, I says, the Army don't want my dog tags, No,,, she said the ones that don't keep them, died, silence---------------------------------------------------, ah, yea, its a good thing I got to keep mine.
Then she says,,, Christan? as she is reading the tag. Thats for if you get wounded and need last rights or something isn't it?
more silence----------------------------------, ah yes.
I really didn't know what to say, she is way to smart, Im going to have a talk with the post man.

I still don't know how to relate a lot of what happened to people that weren't there. My children read here and that has helped. I am quite most of the time. Spent Sat. with my Marine friend , Ron.He tried to kill himself Tue. , pulled the 7 mag away at the last second but can't hear very good out of his left ear today. Peace

Yep, he's in the group photo. We had a good talk Saturday I think he will be OK , got to get him to the VA this week. Bang.
