Field Jacket
For about a month or so I carried a field jacket with me in my ruc.
It would get hot as he!! in the day and in the middle of the night it was so cold that you could see your breath , Which , by the way was not a good thing if your trying not to be seen. More than one time a old timer would make fun of me only to barrow it when he had to do LP. Field jacket, all I needed was a cot and a sleeping bag and a refridgerator and I would have been in Speciel Forces. Ron |

Field jacket
I still have the field jacket of a friend of mine, Don Kinton, who was killed by "friendly" fire from a gunship.
He was a lrrp, he wouldn't need it where he was going James Happy just to be alive

39mto - you betcha buddy, the central highlands could get downright cold at night. The higher the elevation of those mountains the colder it got. Needed more than a poncho liner at times. .
