Default SEAL Question

Can any of you tell me if SEAL Teams have unit coins like the Army Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces Units?

For a short time I had the honor of working with a couple of SEAL's, I remember them having coins for passing the equator, date line, and a few others, but can not remember if they had unit coins. Still get Christmas cards from one of the guys, i will try and find out.

Pho... could not contact my friend but have found several sites on the web that offer SEAL Team coins, I am not sure if they are real or just a way for those guys to make money.

Default Thanks catman

Really don't want a SEAL coin, Just tired of every other Jerk in bars claim to be SEALs. I showed one my SF coin and he had a blank stare like thats nice. Had a SEAL friend several years ago but the subject never came up. CPO John Hazelrigg from SEAL team 2. Still have the knife scar where we cut our arms one night and became blood brothers. Got home about 4AM drunk and bleeding and laughing, woke up the wife had her get out the sewing kit and put on coffee. John and I tried to sew each other up but finally had to give in to the wife and let her do it.

I am married to an angel.

Sounds like you have a good girl there. Keep her happy and good things will come about!
