Default an odd thing happened to me last Saturday...

I was about 60 miles east of here in a small town, Bolivar TN., and was headed to the library to do some family genealogical research, and was going maybe 30 mph, when a maroon late model truck with dark tinted windows pulled up behind me and honked and then put his left hand outside the truck and in front of the driver side windshield and gave me the bird. I was turning left at that point and he went on his way. I suspect it had to do with the "Vietnam Veteran" and "25th Infantry" "proudly served" and "CIB"stickers on my bumper. I have re-played the incident over and over and I remember getting in the left lane and giving a signal. I was going way too slow for it to have been a traffic problem. I figure it was some kid high on crank.....very damn strange..

Larry

P.S. : With all the Vietnam crap in the news the past few months, I think folks are getting a little irrittated with it all...just IMHO.

" Going way to slow to be a traffic problem " 30 mph in the left hand lane. I 'd have to say you were in front of someone that wanted to go faster than 30 mph in the fast land. Never know though , I put a 38 round through the trunk of a BMW couple of years ago for impolite behavior. Some crazies out there

LT has it right. Bob and Jerker can both tell you I park at 30MPH. If you were doing 30 in front of me, even if you are a brother Tropic Lightening, I'd flip you off. Might even hit your car. Not hard enough to hurt anything, just hard enough to knock the cell phone out of your hand.

A need for speed,
Andy

Gotta concur with above stated opinions on this one,Larry. We`ve had a rash of accidents on US 101 here lately, and I directly attribute this rise to the guys doing 30 in the fast lane. Not guys like me who pass them on the right at 80-90 flying a double-fisted bird out the window.

Talking GRIZ!

Griz,

Ole buddy and pal, slow down and enjoy life.

No wonder you haven't shot a deer in years. Driving tooooo fast to see them.

Larry,

I drive like a grandmother. They do that to me all the time.

To the Other Guys,
Let's not waste ammunition on jerks.

Default GRIZ!!!

You've flashed a double bird while weaving between lanes at 80 miles per hour? Damn son, you have driven in Boston.
Hey, did Chris ever tell you about our cab driver who took us from Faniuel Hall to his hotel at Light Speed? You could sort of tell Chris was not accustom to professional drivers who operate in the Hub.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Andy if the diaper head could have spoke english I would have been alittle more at ease. It's not to often you see a driver whip his cab and cuss it out in aribic for being a worthless fleabag. plus when I seen you pull you peice I relaxed because I knew the driver would deliever us safe and sound or else.
