Doug Up Quick

Doug,

I started to send this back channel but these Kerry bashing bastards would have
found it themselves before long anyway. A sharp bunch, these wald-eyes fuckers
that believe every thing they hear.

I fear a problem for the Kerry camp.

I just read an account of the Silver Star action and it states that the machine
gunner first hit the communist prick and then Kerry rushed in to deliver the
coup de grace. Did I spell coup de grace right? Now this was from a pro-Kerry
guy and he was proud of Kerry for delivering the er…er…coupe-de-grace.
Hell, I never liked a communist either, especially one that shoots rockets at
white boys so I'm not losing any sleep over this myself.

But what worries me, Doug, is that some whining bleeding heart fucker is going
to attempt to make the coupe de grace into a war crime. Now both of us know we
weren't authorized to deliver the coup de grace even though a lieutenant
probably should have been. He had to do every fucking thing else so why not
the coup de grace? But damn if I don't think there might have been a war crime
here!

I might owe Kerry an apology for I have long said that as a combat soldier he
knew the WSI was a bunch of shit but now I'm thinking maybe not. Maybe he was
in the groove at the WSI that day.

So I thought you needed to know this so maybe it can be headed off before it
hits CNN.

It's nothing new. You might have missed it, but I commented on this a couple of days ago
when someone (Bob?) posted a similar claim from Sampley's (spit) website. I think it first
was mentioned/claimed a few months back.

Well, I didn't even comment on that "Doug Up Quick" stuff. My hero and dream
man, Mr. Bill Clarke, seems to be real serious about stuff these days, and
with things the way they are, it's difficult not to be. I can't even find
much pleasure in making fun of deranged eye doctors right now.

Well Sugar, the boys in WW II had "Doug Out" Doug, a not so flattering tag the
troops gave the ever dramatic Gen. Douglas Macarthur.

In Vietnam we boys had "Up Quick Doug", a flattering tag given Doug Reese for
the quickness in which he bounced up to kick some communist ass. Although
there is rumor of another reason for the nickname. You'll have to ask Doug
about that.
