Hussein has openly declared a scorched-earth policy in Iraq, with little or no thought of how his people will survive after this conflict is over!? He has (or has attempted to) burn oil wells, cut off utilities, stop the flow of potable water and has squeezed off supplies where ever he could (especially in and around Basrah)! ?In short, the man (Saddam) is a self-centered, egotistical, maniacal and flatulistic pile of shit! (And those are probably his only saving graces!)

Hussein is also paranoid, corrupt, vicious and as ugly as the south end of a camel - heading north! If he is, as the media reports, a womanizer, one has but to see some of the women that the news cameras have trapped on film within his country to get a grasp of his tastes! (opinion)

During a news conference today, an Air Force Major General (all two stars of him) was quite candid (though careful) on the questions aimed in his direction by the media.

One of the concerns of many of the people in attendance, was the jamming systems graciously sold to Hussein by our friends in Russia, not to mention the night-vision goggles and other military paraphernalia that Moscow sent to Iraq to destroy US troops! (Some friends, huh?)

It would appear that these jamming systems were not all that effective to begin with, but this in itself is academic, as we have blasted the shit out of them anyway!

The problem of ?Iraqi Back-Shooters - Out Of Uniform? also came up, and the General related that although some of these criminals were (in fact) Republican Guards, many others were irregulars. All, however, were dressed in ?Sheep-Dip Civvies?, and many had surrendered previously in order to strike at our backs! (Hussein Style)

As far as ?Mother Nature? getting in on the act, the weather (Sand Storms etc) have not proven all that much of a deterrent to ?Twenty-First Century Conflict?, and besides all that, our forces are flexible, skilled, courageous and determined!! They are also exceptionally well-trained to handle all possibilities!

Even with all of our technological wonders, however, warfare is not an exact science and people die, even on our side! This is a given, and our forces in the field are the best in the world! The best equipped, the best trained, the greatest moral, the finest leadership, the most courageous, focused and determined! ?WE WILL PREVAIL!?

For years, however, we have attempted to be extremely liberal with a few of our so-called foreign based allies. We have poured money, blood, sweat, tears and technology, into a few of these vacillating countries, in an attempt to raise their standard of existence and to prove our desire for friendship and peace! One has, however, merely to turn on the tube or read the local rag to determine how a few snakes repay any act of kindness. As a matter of fact, many of our own people take for granted the sacrifices of our military, as is apparent from the nature and scope of recent protests! And as concerns portions of the United Nations itself, in my humble opinion - ?You will never find a more wretched den of scum and villainy? (Thank you Obi Wan)
