Murder trial
Just watched part of a murder trial on Court TV. The defense was questioning the expert witness. The defendant had killed four people in an office setting. One man had two fatal shots to the head. Questioning the witness the defense asks, "which of the shots killed him first?" What??? Is this one of those trial goofs?

Believe it or not, thats one way to throw off the expert witness. The witness might answer the question with some smart-ass comment discrediting him and all his answers. Bob K

Bob,
The correct answer would be:
Either shot would have killed him. We don't know which one was fired first. Or something like that. However, Knowing Brother Bob . . . . Oh Well I won't go there. Keith |

Yahoo had an archive that showed some of the dummest questions that was asked people on the witness stand.
One of my favorates was a defense lawyer from Boston asked a doctor who performed an autopsy : Defense Lawyer..."Was this individual dead or alive when you performed an autopsy on him ?" Doctor..."He was dead" Defense lawyer..."Was he dead after you removed his heart ?" Doctor..."No...I don't believe he was. If my memory serves me correct, he got up from the operating table and left the morgue. Last I heard....he decided to move to Boston and was practicing law."
