That's what one of my students said about his first C++ test. It

A football team can be described as "owning" their opponents when they easily foil all of their opponent's attempts to score. A boxer "owns" his opponent when he beats him easily. In the same way an examination can "own" you if you can't begin to answer the questions. We've all been in that situation and know the feeling. There's a new, concise, and poetic way of expressing it. |

They won a national championship a couple of years ago. But I recently watched him strike out three times in one game against a local guy, who speciualized in throwing the Slider from Hell.. After the game said son came up to me, grinned ruefully and said, "That son of a bitch owns me." ted |
