Uploaded here to add to my own archive of WW2 documentaries for subscribers and viewers of KBO Media. Also a tribute to the US Navy. Made within 10 years of the end of the WW2, when such reality was still in living experience for millions and a testament in 2023 to those who went to sea in ships on behalf of the alliance. I rarely upload a program I didn't make, but I am looking at various original sources of "clips" that I have in the KBO Media archive, worthy of restoring and re-presenting on my channel for those with WW2 interest. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal note: This is why I went Navy for 12 years. My Uncle Lee was USN during WWII and enliised in the US Navy - during this time. -
