Talking I LOVE IT

Many years ago my wife said " I wish you had told me about your drinking before we were married."
"I didn't like to brag," I replied.

Thumbs up Foster Beer

Back in the seventies I went by a beer store to get on the expressway for the ride home from work. I would get one beer to take with me. Unfortunatly the ride was 45 minutes and the beer would last 15. UNTIL I stumbled on a Fosters that came in a can the size of the old oil guarts. That beer lasted the whole ride home , thru my shower and while I would be getting dressed to go out. I've had a good feeling for Australia and it's people since. Aussies understand the importance of a beer in a working mates life. Glad to have ya with us WAZZA. If you ever make it over here you got a place to stay in Alabama. Psyco-Vet Torch :cl:

Thumbs up

Great! Now we know. The Star of Federation is actually the gleaming light of wit and humor. Keep it up as we are a bit short on humor these days and wit seems to have gone missing for the moment. That is unless we get a kick out of our current state of national politics.
I still have a lapel pin I was given some time back while working in Perth. It says "Advance Austrilia". At the same time I cut out some headlines for my scrap book. It was from the Perth paper and has super mega headline font that says, "Rotten Hounds" and has to do with a football game between Perth and Melborne. Things didn't go Perth's way I suppose. It's just a snicker a minute down under once a person tunes into the humor.

I don't think God put us here to be miserable. And I believe laugther is the best medicine. I know we have to be serious some of the time, but that's our being not our soul. Life wasn't meant to be easy but it sure beats the hell out of the other option

Thumbs up AS I SAID!

Lets have our winter campout in Australia so we can meet our Aussie buddies. Get a grant from the VA! But no one will help me with a title for the Grant so I can start writing. R and R for old vets!

Default Keith...

How about a title like: PTSD Therapy "Down Under"?
Don't see why The VA wouldn't go for such (just jokin).

Still, your suggestion is certainly a good idea, since getting Veterans together as still fellow comrades, will always be a good idea and quite therapeutic. Don't you think?
