Default Christmas Packages

If our incoming email is any indication, there are lots of companies out there that want you to send packages to the troops and pay them to do it.

This is an advertisement for the one organization that supports our troops every day. All the profits go to support Morale, Welfare & Recreation programs for our military.

AAFES is the Army, Air Force Exchange System. It now includes the exchanges for the Navy, Marines & Coast Guard.

Options for people without regular access to the Exchange system (Active duty, retirees & their families) include...

PURCHASE A PREPAID CARD.
Purchase a Prepaid Calling Card(s) to include in your care package or letter to a military family member, friend or loved one.

SEND A PREPAID CARD.
Send a Prepaid Calling Card(s) to an individual family member, friend or loved one. Calling home was never easier.

DON'T KNOW A PERSON TO SEND A PREPAID CARD? WE CAN HELP!
FOR MILITARY TROOPS Deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) / Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
The American Red Cross will distribute your Prepaid Card(s) to military personnel deployed in support of ongoing military operations (not recognized as tax deductible donations).

FOR AIR FORCE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES
The Air Force Aid Society, as the official charity of the United States Air Force, agrees to accept Prepaid Card(s) from individuals or companies who choose to contribute the cards to Air Force members and their families.

FOR DEPLOYED, WOUNDED AND HOSPITALIZED SERVICE MEMBERS
The Fisher House supports military personnel wounded in action and those seriously ill being treated in military hospitals in the U.S. and overseas. Fisher Houses provide a "home-away-from-home" for service members and their families while a loved one is hospitalized at the military's major medical centers. Your donation of Prepaid Card(s) will enable Fisher House to ease the burden for military personnel and their families at a most stressful time in their lives.

FOR SAILORS, MARINES AND THEIR FAMILIES IN TIME OF NEED
The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a unique, non-profit, private, charitable organization that supports America's Sailors, Marines and their families in time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs. The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is in an excellent position to identify individuals who have the greatest need for these prepaid telephone cards.

MILITARY MEMBERS PARTICIPATING IN USO PROGRAMS
Your gift of Prepaid Phone Cards will be distributed by the United Service Organizations (USO), whose mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military personnel and their families. The USO provides a wide range of programs and services worldwide. As a result, our service men and women have the opportunity to experience a "touch of home" even while serving far away from loved ones.
