Human Progression Throughout Time

So, just what have we done, and what have we really learned, over the past two and a half centuries of our existence? And more importantly, have we truly lived-up to our potential as a “Great Nation” or have we merely been held back by the rest of this planet that tippy-toed and chiseled its way throughout life itself, instead of galloping, throughout time?

For you see -“The United States of America” was genuinely a gallant, giving and noteworthy idea and it was a concept that was sired out of human necessity! And we were, like it or not, formed upon the dying carcasses of “The Old World!” But are we also succumbing to the same old mental and moral diseases that have plagued virtually every other ‘once’ magnificent enclave of humanity?

For we possess nearly everything that is essential to create and to advance-upon, the greatest nation ever to be conceived by humanity! But unfortunately, we have also retained some of the same old ailments and negativity that have plagued and even eaten away at, the very foundations of our race itself, and this, ever since our very inception!”

And therein has resided the greatest of all of the evils of humanity - ever since its initial creation? In short - we have aged nicely – But Have We Truly Progressed?

Now - there are a vast number of people out there who would take great offense at my analogy? But these are usually the creatures who have capitalized the most upon complacency, sloth, greed and even commercialization! But can you intelligently avow that mankind has progressed as much as “We Should Have” to this point within our illustrious evolutionary process?

“Or have we merely been dragged along by the travails of time, the exploits of failures and the dictates of survival itself?”

And would “The Almighty Himself” genuinely approve of our progress or even our lack of it?

“And Granted Again”, we have accomplished some pretty remarkable things during our brief tenure here upon this relatively lack-luster little planet – but once again, have we genuinely lived up to what was expected of us or even what we were capable of accomplishing?

And if you are one of those perennial fools who are satisfied with the complacency, or the war-like tendencies of our race, then to you, I say: “Hang In There Man”, for there is now, (and always has been), a small group of human beings who are not content with the status-quo or with just being listed amidst “The Also-Rans Of Finite Life!!”
