Same Old Gas?
Have you ever noticed how when an energy crisis (real or contrived) is foisted upon the (Paying Through The Nose) public, the price of fuel shoots through the roof? And only after great public indignation threatens to unseat a few (Highly Placed) political poltroons, does the price of gas begin to decline, if but ever so slowly and minutely! Usually about half or less of what it was (artificially) jacked-up by to begin with!
What was it that an old (now removed), and well heeled U.S. Senator once said about one particular gas crisis, along with it?s soaring prices: ?The poor and middle class don?t need gas anyway, as they have no place to go!!? This particular Senator from California was also well known for always falling asleep in the Senate chamber! ?Maybe, he was also drinking some of that high-octane?? After the ?Fuel Moguls? are forced to decrease gas prices, for fear of possible incarceration perhaps, they generally push their magnanimous gesture down our throats, while at the same time, they crawl back under their platinum-plated rocks, waiting for the next (so-called) energy emergency to screw us over again!? So I ask you, "who does this make the bigger fool?!? VERITAS :cd:

About 85% of our gas comes from Canada (The Hibernia Platform off Newfoundland) and only about 5% comes from the middle east. All of this price hiking is FRAUD/GREED pure and simple. The Iraq war had no effect at all on oil supplies. If EVERY ARAB country in the world cut us off from their oil it wouldn't affect our supplies one iota. We'd just buy some more of the High Sulpher Nigerian and cough a little more than usual.
