United Nations Casualties

Way down here, near the bottom of all forums exists one on the United Nations, an organization much out of favor judging by contemporary american sentiment, attention, and the policies of our present government. As of today, there have been 8 posts and 5 threads, total, on this tremendously vital forum.

Also today, as of 11:30AM CST, 13 United Nations' personnel have lost their lives and an as yet unknown number have been wounded... in a terrorist bombing of their headquarters in Baghdad, on their mission of humanitarian assistance to a traumatized nation; one wherein the dogs of war have been set loose and respond not to voice commands imploring that they ALL halt the horror.

Let all americans who mourn, honor, commemorate and cherish the lives of our own combatants do equally likewise for these peacekeepers.

If there must be an "international community" and a "global economy", then let the american government and people treat gently and cooperatively with the United Nations, helping and not harming their purpose of peace and reconciliation, and lend every possible assistance to their aims without which Armageddon is inevitable, for all who live upon this blessed earth.
