What Is Best For Our Nation

Let’s cut through all of the bull-crap for a moment! This next presidential election is akin to playing poker with a deck with all face cards – in short, the results are almost obvious!
On one hand, we have two proven commodities - “The good, Old U.S. of A, and Donald John Trump” , a fascinating pair of asset! While on the other, we have a plethora of unlikely contenders, all of whom are long on promises, and short on actual clout – now who in the “Hell” do you think is going to be more affective and functional within “The Oval Office?!”

Most of us upon this site are fairly content, well balanced, and yes, even complacent at times! We vote for the representation that our functioning minds (and the media) tells us (incessantly) is the best person for the job? And as often as not, we find ourselves stuck with a man (or a woman) that is usually “far more chatter than chomp”, or more bull crap than actual performer – and more is the shame, for we can only make the same mistakes so many times before they sinks their festering fangs deeply into our butts and infect us all with a plague that not even the heavens themselves can cure - then woe be to us all – en masse!

“Now, no one can always guarantee perfection or even success” – but our own people are not the enemy here! And unless we think that we are in this race of life for ‘the short haul’, then we had all damned well better come to realize (and quickly), that there are entire nations of creatures out there who seek our absolute demise – dead, buried, and all of that other crap! And unless we are damned cautious and walk far more sanely than we do now, we could someday soon find ourselves and ‘our great nation as well’, also deposited atop the scrap-heaps of world history!

We have a magnificent potential here within “This Nation of Ours” to become the first, truly ever-lasting fixture upon the face of “This Entire Planet”, but only for as long as our arrogance and our vested-politics does not get in the way of our own common sense?

Or will we too, someday sink beneath the ponderous weight of our own egos and nuclear technology, and this, while we learn nothing at all from the lessons that world history, international geography, and even mankind’s own greed and mounting ambition, have attempted to impart to us in times past?
