Thumbs up Battle Of Baghdad!!

(COMING ATTRACTIONS?)

The word is (for what it is worth) that ?Hussein and Aziz? are still alive and shacked-up somewhere in, or around, Baghdad! God, these two punks remind me so much of ?Hitler and Mussolini during World War II!? They sure as hell ?Talk The Talk? , and if ?Bull Shit Was Tissue Paper, these two dinosaurs would have enough to blow the noses of the entire United Nations! ?And speaking of blowing, I wonder what are our friends in France are up to these days??

As it now sits, about ?Four (4) Divisions of Iraqi Republican Guards? stand in the way of liberating Iraq? According to Iraqi standards, I have got to assume that this amounts to anywhere between (say) 32,000 to 60,000 Troops, and according to the (often wrong) media, they are spoiling for a brawl! One thing, however, has escaped the Iraqi Leadership?s mentality. What would happen if, after we pulverize Iraq?s ability to make war, we pulled out, leaving the Nation of Iraq to the mercies of (say) Turkey and Iran, both of whom would dearly love to eat Iraq alive?

?Do you believe, even for a brief moment, that Turkey or Iran would be as compassionate as Coalition Forces? If you do, you had damned well better change your brand of smokes!?

Well ?Saddam Old Turd?, if it?s a fight you want, it?s a fight your going to get, and neither you, nor your little punkettes, are going to fight this one with your mouths, although the French might enjoy this prospect!?

Does Hussein and his ?Pet Disease? (or is that Aziz), really believe that there are no surprises in store for him? (Dream on, you malignant bastards)!? I just heard an expert saying that if we wanted to, we could pound Iraq back into the dark ages - I Believe It!! ?But in my opinion, under Saddam Hussein?s rule, they are already there!!?

Something disturbing, however, did come out of the last news conference that I witnessed! It seems that some within both ?Army and Marine Units? are complaining that the amount of fire-power that they are being allowed to deliver upon some Iraqi targets they encounter in their march to ?Bug-Tussle? (Baghdad), is being restricted under higher orders!? This ?Surgical War - Limited Damage Bull Shit? could prove dangerous. ?IF WE HAVE IT, USE IT", short of nuclear that is! And I wouldn?t even rule out the ?Big Bomb? should any of Hussein and Aziz?s maniacs employ chemicals, biological, dirty bombs, or any further terrorism against us or our (TRUE) allies! (opinion)

?And I have one last question? - With our detection equipment that can pick up (even) the fumes when that ?Bastard (Hussein) Farts?, why are we not able to pick up some enemy troop concentrations, and then obliterate them!

Come on George, you can be remembered as a humanitarian or a successful war-time leader, but not both at the same time (opinion)! And Hussein has, after all, made it quite clear that he is willing to use each and every filthy trick and weapon (even banned weapons) to strike at our kids in uniform and even our homeland! If this is the case, and most of the nation believes that it is, why in the hell are we not hitting him with every ?G.D. Thing That We Have, Everywhere We Find Him!??

President Truman also faced the troubling quandary of invading the ?Japanese Home Islands?, or using our advanced technology to end that war and save countless American Lives! His choice is now history, and fortunately, many Americans managed to make it back home alive, my own father and uncles included!

Truman?s decision was a hard one, and many disagreed with it, but Truman shouldered his responsibility, just as President Bush is doing now, and in the process, many are now alive that would not have been, had he (Truman) opted to fight WWII by the other guy?s vested rules!!

?TOTAL WAR, TOTAL VICTORY? (General W.T. Sherman)

The limited use of firepower is bothering me as well. This war, as those before it, is highly political.

Default BINGO!!!...David.

In point of fact, your: "This war/ is highly political" could have been honestly stated for every conflict America has fought in,...from 1950 Korea to date. The last time WE DIDN'T have stupid and self-defeating and/or JAG-type or handcuffing Rules of Engagement always favoring the enemy and actually resolved anything,...was called: WWII.

Still, it is mindboggling that We apparently never learned anything from America's Greatest Victory and/or WWII, in that political micro-management by a scum called: Hitler pretty-much insured Our Victory. After all, even the largest and best equipped military in The World (at that time) couldn't overcome being micr-managed-to-death by a politician,...and one-helluva sicko-politician at that.

Guess, and regarding foolish micro-management of ones military to the detriment of ones military and never resolving ANYTHING (favorably anyway), as in Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, and Iraq...it's fair saying that Hitler THE POLITICIAN (most Corporals don't know military tactics near as well as most Generals do) was a man before his time?

Furthermore, what's always the point of giving THOSE (re. most others on earth excluding America) whom have always subscribed to the theory that: "All is fair in love and war" the edge? Also, why-the-hell force: "America's Finest" to suffer more danger than need be? Isn't warefare in general dangerous enough, without forcing Our Boys (Girls also) to have silly and cockamamie RULES of engagement always favoring the enemy? I sure-as-hell think so.

Besides, I think it would be nice for all Protestors and those like-minded in Authority (both here and worldwide), if we engaged in warfare just like everyone else does. THEN,..."They" would TRULY have something to protest about,...even though protesting against America, while favoring the enemy during warfare is treasonable.
