Wreaths Across America kicks off with events in Maine

More than 85 trucks gathered in Ellsworth, Maine on Dec. 9 to officially start the annual weeklong Wreaths Across America event. Six-String Soldiers, a four-member bluegrass group from The U.S. Army Field Band, attended the start of the convoy that will carry thousands of wreaths down the east coast before converging on Arlington Cemetery and 1,400 other cemeteries across the country and abroad to honor the veterans who made America what it is today
