26 years,...
...26 years ago,... 12/01/1979,...
... I was thrust into the thick of things on a night I'd care to forget, and as most of us on of special days, can not,... ...many differences from the last few preceding years as being here with my cyber Brothers, and Sisters, a lot has been layed upon my table, and with some being bad, some being good, but there is a calm with the knowledge I have gained during my period among everyone here I thank one, and all,... ...PTSD wasn't in my vocabulary 6 years, or so ago, wasn't a clue as to the cause of the nightmares, the sweats, the flashbacks, and screams and continuous track that ran amuck around the gray area, ... ...although I don't feel much better, I understand somewhat why the occurrences happen, and bracing for them eases the pain, managing to maintain most of my composure as of now, and being here again this year shows that I still got fight in me, wish things were better off the world in general, but this is the way it is,... ...trying to keep turning the page,... ...Movin' on, love you all,... ..."Psyco Curtis",... ...

Know I rub a lot of people wrong,...since too-damn-honest.
Regardless, hope that I also fall into that category of being somewhat helpful,...even though no Vietnam Vet? Whatever, and given your writing, you most certainly seem like the best adjusted: "Psycho" I've ever run across. Hey,..."Just keep-on-truckin", Soldier. Curtis you've came along ways since you first joined us. alittle bad times but alot more good. I think Gracie will help you forget your past deamons she'll keep your mind occupied with more pleasent thoughts.

Curtis..... Hang on bro, life can be a bitch at times, As most of well know, you just have to learn how to ride it. You got Gracie and all your buds here. I am not an expert, but what I do is go fishing when I start to think too much about that other time. I know it's the wrong time of year where you live, but I understand that ice fishing is interesting, that is if the ice don't break.

Curtis My thoughts
The military dropped the code of conduct several years ago which I thought was a shame. There were several times in my life that I was pretty sure things were not going to go well for me. I always reverted to one of the lines in the code of conduct and it seemed to give me that extra strength to do what had to be done to survive.
I AM AN AMERICAN FIGHTING MAN I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OF MY OWN FREE WILL. Never surrender to anyone or anything including PTSD. Always fight to the best of your abilities and NEVER SURRENDER.

We have all been around to witness how much better you are doing and how you have endevoured to persivere. (sp?)
