Default Ahoy Shipmates

I was in the Navy from Jan 178 through June 1989. Prior to being in the Navy, I was in the Army from Mar 67 until Dec 1977. Went into the Navy as a SKSN, however, I converted to Master at Arms. I retired in Jun 1989 from Pearl.

Hello Robert and welcome aboard! Our Navy time frames are almost the same, Oct 79 to Jul 87. I was an ABH-2 when I got out, did a second hitch as Brig Staff at NETC Newport, R.I.

My Ryan welcome aboard a little belated but better late than never. I'm an X-ABF 12 years worked a few flat tops and other misc. boats from 63 to 75 and two tours to VN and one stop in DaNang.

I got a friend whose a boomer and worked his way from enlisted to office in 15 years he's now got 18 and loves every minute of it. He will do at least 20-25 but with atitude I think he can make 30 and pull the plug still at a young enough age to get out and get a real job! ha ha. He's a nuke specialist and a damn good one too.

Welcome again.
