“Every now and then, some politician sends me a questionnaire asking for my views and opinions!” Of course I am no sage, no pseudo-intellectual, and not even an all-knowing crystal-gazer (we already have far more of them that we will ever need or even want in politics)?

We here in The United States have no need of potentates, dictators, or even political icons! In fact, what we really do is to hire (on a temporary basis only), representatives of the people’s will, “AND NOTHING MORE!”

Attitude however, is not a commodity that belongs solely to the politician, the well-healed, or even the career megalomaniac! It is rather a quality that must be directed and utilized wisely and in the defense of our own people first! Of late however, (and in my opinion) damned few in government have been doing this successfully?

“You know, I still can not help but wonder what really goes on behind those closed doors in Washington D.C., even those on Pennsylvania Avenue or at The Senate and The House?”

Hell – “On second thought, maybe you don’t really want to know, unless of course, you have a strong stomach, or are at least three sheets to the wind?”

Deal are being made as we speak. No body votes for something unless they are going to get something for their vote. They broker for their state and what they can get. They don't work as a team but rather what do they get in return. That's my gut feeling. This is why term limits are needed and no retirement - let them go out and get a job and pay taxes like the rest of us.

Let them serve their elected "one" term with no compensation. No montly retirement checks, no medical plan, etc.
